The function of “building” is another area which is extremely hard to finalise. Intellectual Property is made of this area of cognition. The basic thought is its limit is defined by prevailing competition and cannot be furthered much than existing thought. This is not true in cases of novel inventions which are themselves defining the limit at inception.
The world we live in today is extremely complex; generations of experience have now been made available to those in search. Major inventions are rare, though we all have fantasized about them as it is.
Otherwise, the level of mechanization and cost reduction, which we as a mass need, is intolerably hard to compete against from existing companies.
Not that “building or branding” is impossible. And we are progressing in every field.
